Yaya Toure and Carlos Tevez are ready to come back in action for Manchester City with next Sunday’s Premier League match against Sunderland. However, both the players would miss their international duties as they are recovering from their respective injuries.
Defensive midfielder Toure pulled himself out of Ivory Coast’s match against Benin in a qualifying match of African Nations Cup due to an ankle injury picked up during City’s 2-0 defeat to Chelsea. However, he can come back at training after resting for four days.
Argentine striker Tevez missed the Chelsea match due to a groin injury which he is now recovering very well and is expected to return in action with the Sunderland match. However, he would miss Argentina’s two friendly matches before the Sunderland encounter.
