Roger Federer is hopeful for his good performance in French Open 2010

Despite his poor performance in this season, the world number one tennis player, Roger Federer, is not worried for the upcoming French Open 2010. Defending champion Roger Federer will be eyeing to defend his title. But it seems that his fans will not take him as the most probable winner as he lost to Alberto Montañés in the semi-final of the recently concluded Estoril Open in Portugal.

Still Roger Federer has the highest possibility to hold his title in this competition. Though he was not in good form, he is able to get back his form in the in clay court through his career. His 23rd consecutive Grand Slam semi-finals make him the most remarkable player in this competition. Such kind of performance makes him tough contender in the clay court.

Until the Estoril Open in 2010, Alberto Montañés could not defeat Roger Federer in his previous three attempts. He may not do it ever if Federer did not make 48 unforced errors.

It is believed that Roger Federer will continue his dominance.
