Kim Clijsters will not play in French Open 2010

Former World number one tennis player, Kim Clijsters, has withdrawn her name from French Open 2010 which will start from May 23, 2010.

Kim Clijsters said that she could not play this upcoming tournament because of her ankle problem and inhibiting pain.

She was one of the most favorite contestants of this tournament. She was two-time finalist in Roland Garros. Her consistent performance made her one of the top players in almost all betting lists.

Though she is feeling better, she does not want to take any risk as there is still fluid around the ankle.

The absence of Kim Clijsters will make the tournament less entertaining. But other contestants will feel happy as they will not have to face Kim Clijsters in the title race.

Fans will hope that Kim Clijsters will be recovered soon and come back in the tennis court.
