Carla Suarez Navarro upset Svetlana Kuznetsova in Indian Wells

The early exit of Svetlana Kuznetsova of Russia was a big upset at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells. Hardly anyone could expect that she will be eliminated in her opening match of this tournament. This top-seeded player was defeated by Carla Suarez Navarro of Spain 6-4, 4-6, 6-1. It was an exciting game. Luck did not favor Kuznetsova. However, her opponent Suarez Navarro did not anything impressive to win the match other than stay safely behind the baseline and keep putting balls over the net. Suarez Navarro made upset for Venus Williams at the 2009 Australian Open.

Svetlana Kuznetsova made some silly mistakes that put her down. In the second-round match, she made seven double faults and no aces. He also dropped her serve six times.

Justine Henin was the first upset in this tournament. She was beaten by Gisela Dulko in the second round. Her defeat broke the heart of tennis fans. Let us see who will be the next upset of this tournament.
