Roger Federer pulled out of Dubai tennis after lung infection

Lung infection forced Roger Federer to pull out of the ATP Dubai tennis championships this year. According to the ATP website, the top-seeded male tennis player Roger Federer picked up the infection last week. However, he went to doctor for check up and advised to take rest. Four times Dubai champion Roger Federer is expecting to make his return next week at the ATP World Tour Masters at Indian Wells which will start in March in 2010. The 28-year-old Swiss professional tennis player Roger Federer won 16 Grand Slam titles in his tennis career and secured his top position for 268 weeks. If he would play this tournament and won the trophy then he could have gotten two-million-dollar as prize money. He was supposed to play against Julien Benneteau of France in the first round. However, it is obviously sad news for Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray because both these two 22-year-old players wanted to take revenge after defeating Roger Federer.
