Andy Murray will face Rafael Nadal in quarter-finals of Australian Open 2010

British professional tennis player Andy Murray is going to take on Spanish Rafael Nadal in quarter-final match of Australian Open 2010. It is obviously going to be one of the biggest matches in this tournament. The winner of this match will be the most probable contestant of winning the men’s singles competition. Both Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal are in good form. They are strong enough to beat each of them.

Rafael Nadal is currently taking second position in the ranking. On the other hand, Andy Murray is the fifth seed player. The 22-year-old has not yet won any Grand Slam title. Great Britain has not yet won any Grand Slam title in their 74 years tennis history. No doubt, whole Britain should expect more on him. He will be urged to make a new record for Britain. His opponent 23-year-old Rafael Nadal is in good form. He is continuously performing well. It is clear that Rafael Nadal is a big obstacle in front of Murray.

Andy Murray defeated John Isner by 7-6, 6-3 and 6-2 in the fourth round whereas his opponent Rafael Nadal got a tough win against Ivo Karlovic by 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 and 6-4. Andy Murray has not dropped any matches yet.
