Kevin McClean replaces Daren Powell in West Indies Cricket Squad

Daren Powell has opted out his name from the squad which was announced for the up coming ICC Champions Trophy in South Africa. This all rounder is now suffering from a groin injury. Now, he will have to stay out for four to six weeks. The 21-year-old Kevin McClean replaced this position. It was heard from Radio Jamaica that Powell wrote a letter to the board informing about his injury and visited the WICB medical doctor.

Daren Powell is an experienced player. He is an effective all rounder. On the other hand, Kevin McClean is a new player. He does not have any experience to play ODI cricket. Let us see if he can make any hope of West Indies team.
