Cricket South Africa to Help Zimbabwe in Developing Cricket

Cricket South Africa (CSA) has assured Zimbabwe of helping its cricket development. A delegation from CSA recently visited Zimbabwe and held meeting with Zimbabwe Cricket board to find out the areas it could help the country. Under this collaboration, CSA would allow Zimbabwe to send it players from junior levels as well as umpires to get advanced training in South Africa.

Zimbabwe cricket has been suffering a lot over the last few years mainly because of the political interference in the game resulting in a mass exodus of some of their top level cricketers from national team. In fact, Zimbabwe has not been playing test cricket for a number of years now. So, the kind of help Cricket South Africa offered to Zimbabwe cricket is really very significant for the development of cricket in Zimbabwe.
