ICL Still Confident to Move on

BCCI has recently given a chance to Indian players who have contracts with ICL to come back into international fold by terminating their contracts by 31 May 2009. The players will be allowed to play domestic cricket right after they terminate their contracts with ICL, and after one year, they will also be considered for international selection.

Well, it was reportedly a huge blow for ICL as there could be a number of players who would tempted to walk away from their ICL contracts and would like to join BCCI fold. However, an ICL official has recently made it clear that no player would be allowed to walk away from their contract until their contracts expire. It has been indicated that ICL might go for legal action if needed. However, it has also been reported that ICL would not extend contract of some of the officials and players whose contract have already expired.
