West Indies Thrashed England by 8 Wickets in the 3rd ODI

West Indies clinched an emphatic victory over England in the third ODI of the five-match ODI series. Due to rain, 44 overs were allocated for each side and batting first, England got all out only for 117 with 15 balls in hands. Highest 36 runs came from Dimitri Mascarenhas. Dwayne Bravo picked up 4 wickets, while Fidel Edwards and Kieron Pollard got 3 and 2 wickets respectively. The match was over after England innings, but it was Chris Gayle who provided the home fans with some entertaining batting display in an unexcited match. Gayle played a fiery innings of 80 runs from 43 balls, hitting 5 boundaries and 8 over-boundaries. Despite his hard-hitting batting show, Bravo was awarded the man of the match award because of his match winning bowling performance.

With this victory, West Indies took 2-1 lead in the ODI series and the home side needs just one more victory to win the series. Now, let us see if England can bounce back in the series and win the series.
