Shane Warne Asked Other Cricket Boards to Support IPL

Former Australian great Shane Warne has said that cricket boards of different countries should support Indian Premier League (IPL), in stead of copying the model. He thinks that IPL has a huge number of fans behind it, indicating the fact that 24 million cricket fans watched last year’s IPL final. The legendary leg spinner has also opined that cricket boards should allow its players to play in IPL.

Shane Warne is playing the double role with the reigning IPL champion Rajasthan Royals as a captain as well as coach. Warne has never bothered much about fitness and team meeting and he believes in showing the passion on the field. Wane seems to have implemented the same philosophy in Rajasthan Royals team and he has achieved success too. Now, let us see if Shane Warne can bring out the same success once again for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2009.
