Former England Pacer Dominic Cork: Pakistan Not Under Security Threat

Pakistan cricket is struggling with the security condition of the country a lot and you must have seen a number of cricket tours and tournaments being cancelled in Pakistan over the last one year. Well, recently ICC declared a venue change for ICC Champions Trophy 2009 which was supposed to take place in Pakistan. All happened because of tumultuous security condition of Pakistan where cricket teams like Australia, England, South Africa and New Zealand are reluctant to tour.

Well, former English fast bowler Dominic Cork thinks differently in this regard. In fact, he does not see any security threat in Pakistan and urges England cricket team to go on tour in Pakistan. Cork talked about these sensitive aspects of cricket while addressing media in Karachi, Pakistan. He also added that he was ready to submit a formal report to England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on the security condition of the country if ECB asked him to do so. Now, let us see if Dominic Cork’s words make ECB look into the matter differently and convince the board to send England cricket team to Pakistan on cricket tour.
