Cricket Australia Gives David Warner a Short-time Contract

Australia’s new batting hope David Warner has earned a contract from Cricket Australia (CA) recently. The youngster has already shown his talent and skill, even though he has not played any test match yet. The hard-hitting opener earlier bagged a lucrative deal with IPL franchise Delhi Daredevils. Warner came into limelight with his first international match when he smashed South African bowlers in his way to play a fiery innings of 89 runs in a Twenty20 match last month.

Left handed David Warner is now compared with former Australian opener Mathew Hayden who retired from cricket recently. Warner’s contract with CA will continue till June 30. Warner made it to the ODI team for the ongoing series against New Zealand because of the absence of injured batsman Michael Clarke.
