Australia Wins the Fourth ODI against New Zealand by 6 Wickets

Australia won the fourth match of the five-match ODI series against New Zealand by 6 wickets, leveling the series 2-2. Batting first, New Zealand could throw a descent total of 244 runs losing 8 wickets. Highest 76 runs came from Ross Taylor, while Guptill scored 45 runs. Mitchell Johnson was the most successful bowler for Australia as he picked up 3 wickets.

In reply, Australia did not have big problem to chase down the target comfortably. In fact, the host side reached the target losing only 4 wickets with 10 balls in hands. The credit of the successful chase should go to Hussey brothers who did not give any chance to the visiting side to come back in the match. David Hussey played an excellent innings of 79 runs off 96 balls, while Michael Hussey scored a 71-ball 75 not out. Opener Brad Haddin scored 43 runs. Iain O'Brien took wickets for New Zealand.

David Hussey was awarded the man of the match award. As it is 2-2 in the series, the fifth match will decide the winner of the series. The fifth match will take place on 13 February.
