President Zardari Asks PCB to Hold a Round Table Conference to Discuss Current Problems of Pakistan Cricket

Pakistan cricket is going through a tough time both on and off the field at this moment. Many test playing countries are reluctant to visit Pakistan due to security concern and Pakistan’s recent form on the field is really miserable as they suffered a 234-run humiliating defeat at the hands of Sri Lanka in the recent home series. PCB has today replaced Shoaib Malik as Pakistan captain with Younis Khan. Recently, Pakistan president Asif Ali Zardar has asked PCB to hold a Round Table Conference (RTC) in participation of former captains and coaches of Pakistan national team to find out the problems of Pakistan cricket team and possible solutions. He has also said that the level of cricket in Pakistan has been deteriorated over the years and it is high time to take some initiatives to resurrect Pakistan cricket.
