Mohammad Yousuf Called for New Captain for Pakistan Team

Pakistan’s star batsman Mohammad Yousuf has asked for a new captain for Pakistan team. The comment came in the wake of Pakistan’s humiliating 234-run defeat to Sri Lanka in the final ODI with which Sri Lanka clinched the series too. Criticizing Captain Shoaib Malik’s leadership, Mohammad Yousuf has said that the way Pakistan lost was disappointing and he thinks it would continue unless Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) brings in someone more senior to lead the team. Yousuf has also added that Pakistan had no planning in the final ODI and Shoaib Malik failed to control any part of the match that day. Here, it is noteworthy that since his move to ICL last year, Mohammad Yousuf has been in conflict with Shoaib Malik as the Pakistan captain harshly criticized the star batsman for joining ICL. Mohammad Yousuf has been one of the top performers of Pakistan team over the last few years, and it is true that there were many who got shocked by his move to the rebel league ICL.
