Younis Khan Becomes New Pakistan Captain

Just couple of days back, star Pakistani batsman Mohammad Yousuf called for leadership change for Pakistan cricket team following Pakistan’s humiliating defeat in the recent ODI series against Sri Lanka at home. That is what happened today as Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) sacked Shoaib Malik as the captain of the Pakistan cricket team and assigned senior batsman Younus Khan as the new captain.

Sri Lanka recently thrashed Pakistan by 234 runs in the third of the three-match ODI series recently and in fact, this has been the worst ever ODI defeat by run for the Pakistan cricket team. Younus Khan’s first assignment as Pakistan captain would be the upcoming home test series against Sri Lanka. Now, let us see if Younus Khan can show better performance with his leadership.
