IPL Second Player Auction Begins on 6 February

Second player auction for Indian Premier League (IPL) starts from 6 February. IPL authority has recently released a list of 112 foreign players from whom the eight franchises will choose their foreign players. Each of the IPL teams has got to spend US$2m for signing foreign players in the upcoming auction which will be held in Goa. Australian players are dominating the list with 27 players, followed by 21 English players. Well, the list seems to be pretty long, but it is expected that about 16 players will be signed from the 112 players, meaning each team would sign 2 overseas players in the auction. Besides Australian and England cricketers, there are cricketers from Bangladesh, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, West Indies and Zimbabwe.
