Andrew Symonds: The Man of Misconduct?

Andrew Symonds is once again in the newspaper headlines and of course, for the wrong reason. The star Australian all rounder recently called New Zealand cricketer Brendon McCullum ‘a lump of shit’ and used some other insulting languages about him while talking in a radio interview on Friday. This brought huge criticism for Symonds in the cricket world and New Zealand cricket board also reacted strongly, calling for action to be taken by Cricket Australia (CA) against Andrew Symonds in this regard. However, Symonds later publicly apologized for his misconduct, but CA is still looking into the matter and might fine Symonds. He criticized New South Wales for playing McCullum in the Twenty20 final held on Saturday night against Victoria. However, Australian captain Ricky Ponting still sees rays of hope for Symonds being part of Australian squad for the South Africa tour next month.

Well, this is not the first time, Andrew Symonds has been newspaper headlines for his bad behavior and indiscipline. Over the last one year, Symonds was involved in a number of such activities and even was dropped from Australian team for indiscipline.
